The Sinking City 2 New Game Plus lets you carry over all perk points, all unlocked perks, and all items from your completed save into a fresh Arkham run. Story progress resets. NG+-only content includes the 8 Ex Oblivione purple documents (the Lore entries the standard campaign does not give you, including 'The Loss of Calvin Rafferty' and 'The Joys of Discomfort'), the 5 Infinite Supplies Reference Set entries (infinite Frag Grenades, infinite Handgun ammo, infinite Rifle ammo, infinite Shotgun ammo, infinite SMG ammo), and the Eldritch Reward unlocks that progress the What Dreams Are Made Of and From Oblivion Read achievements. Preserve your completed save before starting NG+ so you have a fallback.

What Carries Over vs. What Resets

According to the NerdSchalk New Game Plus items, lore, and carryover guide (2026-08), New Game Plus ships at launch and lets you carry over all perk points, all unlocked perks, and all items from your completed playthrough. Story progress resets so the new run restarts in Arkham using your carried progression. Treat the second run as a fresh story sweep with an expanded toolbox rather than a retread of previously cleared locations. Preserve your completed-story save before starting NG+ so you have a fallback if the carryover misbehaves or if you want a clean first-run save to return to.

The 8 Ex Oblivione Purple Documents (NG+ Only)

Ex Oblivione is a Lore-only set of eight purple-envelope documents that only appear in New Game Plus; the standard campaign does not include them. Two example titles NerdSchalk names are 'The Loss of Calvin Rafferty' and 'The Joys of Discomfort'. Collecting all eight is what unlocks the From Oblivion Read achievement (50G). Treat the second run as a fresh lore sweep rather than retracing previously cleared locations; the documents are scattered across the same Arkham districts but they are not the same pickups as your first run. This page does not list the remaining six document titles because NerdSchalk's launch-window coverage only names the two examples above; verify the rest in-game or against a later media update.

The 5 Infinite Supplies Reference Set Entries

New Game Plus also unlocks the Infinite Supplies Reference Set, a five-entry log that lets you craft the following infinite-supply consumables. Per NerdSchalk's New Game Plus carryover guide: | # | Entry | Effect | |---|---|---| | 1 | Frag Grenades | Infinite fragmentation grenades | | 2 | Handgun Ammo | Infinite .45 ACP handgun cartridges | | 3 | Rifle Ammo | Infinite .30-06 rifle cartridges | | 4 | Shotgun Ammo | Infinite 12-gauge shotgun shells | | 5 | SMG Ammo | Infinite .45 automatic SMG cartridges | The Infinite Supplies entries are an NG+-only unlock. They do not appear in the standard campaign and are not craftable in the first run.

Eldritch Rewards and the Nightshade Mask Talent Unlocks

NG+ also unlocks Eldritch Reward versions of the late-game Talents at the Safe Room Talent Tables. The full Nightshade Mask Talent set is gated behind collecting Eldritch Rewards across a second playthrough; completing all of them is what unlocks the What Dreams Are Made Of achievement (50G). The four late-game Talents unlock through Safe Room progression in NG+, not the standard campaign. See the [/talents](/talents) page for the full 22-Talent list grouped by category.

Planning Tips Before Starting NG+

- Preserve your completed-story save before starting NG+ so you can fall back to a clean first-run save if needed. - The Ex Oblivione documents are lore-only and do not unlock new weapons or items; the Eight-Document set exists to satisfy the From Oblivion Read achievement. - The Infinite Supplies entries unlock crafting recipes for infinite ammo types, which makes NG+ the cleanest run for testing build combinations. - Eldritch Reward Talents are gated to the second playthrough, so plan your first-run Talent picks around combat and survival needs, not around completing the What Dreams Are Made Of achievement. - Story keys and one-off quest items do not carry over by default; verify per-item behaviour in-game before relying on a carried pickup.
